kelvis, geale and macklin are top 10 MW. hell, i think both were / will be top 5 MW when they fought golovkin. macklin is already a good boy, and geale will know what it's like soon.

Exactly. GGG has taken the proper steps and has steadily increased the level of his competition. Ward is already at the top. That means he's obligated to face great fighters every time out. To do this he either needs to travel or move up in weight like almost every great has done at some point in their career.
