Calzaghe should have fought Froch when he had the chance. At the same time it's hard to blame the guy. Froch was just another guy back then. He didn't look all that great in his first US TV fight either.

Froch does the same damn thing. They both seem very jealous of each other. No matter what they say each fan will make up their own mind who was better. I think Froch is the harder puncher and more fun to watch and more exciting. I think Joe was the better, more skilled and faster fighter. I think Joe's fast hands, work rate and excellent defense would help him to beat Ward. Joe's win over Hopkins in America tops anything Froch ever did. I can't imagine Joe having to come from behind to beat Taylor or having a close fight with Andre Direll.

This stems from Froch calling Calzaghe out when Froch was a nobody and ever since Froch has been constantly stating how great he is historically, particularly relative to Calzaghe. It clearly annoys Calzaghe having an inferior fighter claim he is better than him.
