Canelo looked vicious when he fought Angulo straight out of the gate. I don't think Cotto would be able to handle that kind of aggressiveness and power. Cotto is usually the one being aggressive but Canelo will back him up all night. The size, weight and power difference will be obvious I feel. Canelo is too young and too strong for Cotto.

I voted cotto by mistake. I got Canelo winning against both Lara & Cotto to become Mexico's # 1 and a solid Pound 4 Pound fighter.

Great fight. I think I'd favor cotto a little bit because of his experience and because he has Roach in his corner. 60-40 cotto I think their styles mesh well together because they fight better at a slow tactical pace and both throw great left hooks. But as I said Cotto has a big edge in mega fight experience and her has the best trainer today.

Exactly. At 19 your brain is supposedly still developing and doesn't stop until you're 25. I think more boxers need to preserve themselves, train and take care of themselves before turning pro. Look at Golovkin for example. The guy is 32 years old and looks younger than most fighters in their 20s.

After a fighter wins (regardless of circumstances) they are propelled to god status for 2 weeks on boxing scene. If Cotto a couple days after winning a title is 50/50 with Canelo in a forum poll, that means normally he would get about 5% of the vote. Canelo by stoppage.
