I'm a big Ortiz fan and stuck up for him through thick and thin. At the end of the day I'm a boxing fan and I know that Martinez would lose. His knees are gone and I wouldn't like to see a fighter of his caliber lose to Ortiz. If Martinez would have been honest and said his knees were gone then it would have done damage to the ppv game of the sport. He can say what he wants but there is no way that the Martinez that took Pavlik's shots would have lost to Cotto. Back on Ortiz, I think it's pretty similar to Rocky 3; he went Hollywood and lost the hunger. If Ortiz is willing to build his way into a bigger fight with little paydays then I might buy into his comeback.
