Not crazy about this as a boxing fan since I can see it being a distraction, but the man can do what he wants. He doesn't have much time left in boxing, and he obviously has other interests. I know he likes to play playground basketball, but I question his ability to coach a team. He probably got the gig on star power alone.

Actually, the joke is on you if you think Pacquiao is doing this strictly for financial reasons. I'm willing to bet Pacquiao makes more from his TV shows over there compared to what he'll be getting paid to coach that basketball team. And that's just one of his revenue streams post boxing.

I doubt Pacquiao will be doing much of the coaching anyway. He's most likely there just to be figure head and bring in more revenue for that particular team and league.

Pac and everyone is milking his name dry, he got the position because of his name and in turn extra free publicity for both KIA and the PBA...

first agenda is to hire a very good assistant coach hehe...
