The WBA has decided that Luis Ortiz's next fight can be for the WBA interim title. The winner would be mandatory for the winner of Chagaev-Oquendo.

It should be an eliminator (for the vacant #1 spot).

Instead of all the WBA interim and "regular" titles, they should have four-fighter eliminators like the IBF.

They are the worst sanctioning organization.

Much of what the WBA does makes little or no sense. Many of the WBA ranked contenders are not really even top 50 in their respective divisions.
