Do boxing fights still get fixed?
Do some fighters still get paid to take a beating?
Do some fighters still get paid to take a dive or quit in a certain round?

Most definitely YES. A number of journeyman are paid to go rounds with young prospects. Part of the deal sometimes is the prospect won't go for the KO. Often a journeyman who takes consecutive KOs has their licence revoked and can't get anymore work.
