I don't get why people say Ward needs something to make him a star. He was nearly a star when the Super Six ended, enough to make some pretty good paydays on HBO for Dawson and Rodriguez. The only reason he's not a star right now is because he isn't fighting.

Ward has no one to blame but himself for not being more popular.

Exactly, could you imagine where he'd be if he fought Bute after the Froch fight, and then fought Chad Dawson at 175lb. Don't think he'd be a mega star, but his name would carry clout.
