Diaz sucks ass. Mesi was at least GOOD. You can't argue that. His chin kinda ******, but he won his fights by building up early leads and hanging on. Diaz is HORRIBLE at best. How is a loss to James Toney EVER embarrassing considering Toney is impossible to hit clean and even if you do, his chin is granite? His counter punching ability beats everyone around. Mesi doesn't have a loss by the way.

Mesi didn't beat any name opponent to even be categorized as "good".

He beat Barrett who IS good and he beat Jirov before any of us knew Jirov was as good as dead after the Toney fight. Jirov hasn't even won a fight since Toney rolled him, has he?

i also thought kirk johnson would own a piece of the title by now, he is the most skilled of all heavies. but he is a fatty that wont leave the pechanga entertainment center, seriously he is fighting for the third time in a row there. this time against javier mora or some **** like that. gilbert martinez, yanqui diaz and now mora, kirk really is taking boxing seriously right now . although i still think an inshape kirk beats all the title holders.....

This **** about Diaz is just a stick to beat Gomez with. are Sinan Samil Sam, David Defiagbon and Oliver McCall better boxers than Diaz? of course they are. someone mentioned Jirov, Gomez would have whipped Jirov at cruiserweight, Toney didn't want to know Gomez, and Roy Jones avoided him. Mesi had very messy wins against Jirov and Barrett, Mesi was never going to do anything.

I was at those fights in Buffalo. The funny thing is, the best fighters of the night were on the untelevised part. Sam Peter blasted some guy out in 2, and Liakhovich also scored a ko. So the card may not have completely been a bust.

Also, I wish Dokiwari wouldve gotten another fight. He isnt that good, but physically, he could give a lot of people trouble.

Gomez would give Sam Peter fits IMO.

I remember thinking Guinn was going to be a very good fighter....he has been a huge disappointment , I have never been too high on mesi although he can Brawl pretty good.I think Guinn will get back to winning against Harrison tho he is good against taller fighters it seems.

I didnt mean talent wise they were the best; I agree that Gomez put on a clinic that night; but Peter and Liak. are in the best situations right now.
