    PPV boxing belongs on hbo

How good was it watching a big fight on hbo last night. The network with there production crew and announcers add so much to the fights. My friends and family were all saying how much better the fights are on hbo than they are on showtime. I think we can all agree that the home of big time boxing is hbo so I suggest we turn this into a hbo boxing appreciation thread. How great was hbo last night??

Both networks kiss so much ass it isn't funny. A lot of the times they don't know what they're talking about. That's why I like to watch the fights without the volume after.

seems like the same **** to me, just alotta of hoopla before the fight, it all achieves the same thing to get you interested and stay interested in the fights.

I think HBO Sports has a better production of boxing than Showtime Sports, but I like the fact both are invested in the sport. It allows ESPN, NBCSN, FOX Sports 1 & CBS Sports Network to get into the game and that's good visibility for the product in the future of the sport.

I agree HBO is still light years ahead of Showtime in terms of production value and quality.

I'd much rather hear: Jim, Roy, Max than that annoying MMA commentator with the douche voice always calling it like WWE. Also Jim Grey is probably the worst person in all of the sport.

I like Al Bernstein, so I'll go with Showtime. Paulie is better than Roy though, hope he goes full time there.
