Not since Yuri Foreman have I seen Cotto dominate an opponent who wasn't able to walk in this fashion. A great victory for the walking world.
When Cotto beats a legit opponent not crippled yall can celebrate

He just made history at a catch weight.
I remember Cotto fans not giving Pac credit for that 8 division belt he won vs Margarito.
But honestly though, it is a great accomplishment cause no other PR boxer has done it. I can't deny now that he deserves to be in the HOF.Comment

Unless he beats the "young mobile fighter", at which point you'll post a thread belittling the victory......and the world keeps on spinning.Comment

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Cotto detractors can say what they want. Nothing can break this wonderful feeling. Us Cotto fans are riding high, and all of you can talk as much as you want. It's falling on deaf ears. War Cotto! History was made!Comment

Exactly 100%
Everyone knew Martinez wasnt 100% that wasnt the issue, every one knew this. The problem or variable no one knew was how much he had left, and thats where we all differ. However watching this fight in hindsight and not being a fanboy being like "but you said he was gonna destroy him but cotto tko him" and just looking at the fight realistically you can clearly see no way was cotto fit to fight, No wonder the NYSAC didnt a extra mri on his knees and knee no way he should be fighting but like in the past they can be pressured to let the figth goes on, example, Morales (failed drug test), Margarito (handicapped, dislodged eyeball), now Martinez (handicap knees).
lets as boxing fans just be honest and leave that trolling for clowing on friends, we joined this forum to talk real boxing not to be groupies or haters.Comment
