Golovkin. Different scenario than Sergio. Sergio has his hands down and depends on his reflexes like Roy Jones. Those were gone and Cotto took advantage. Beautifully.
Golovkin is fundamentally sound. Like Cotto. But bigger and stronger with a good chin.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Stevens hits harder than Cotto with comparable hand speed.
Cotto's speed keeps him competitive for 3 or 4 rounds.Comment

Please name me one top 30 fighter Lomachenko fought before fighting Salido?
Why did Salido need to punch him in the nuts so many times and why did Lomachenko land more punches?
What does it matter who fought who?
Are you that busy on trying to protect Cotto?Comment

I like GGG, but people are on his sack when he has not faced a fundamentally sound fighter of the Caliber or Cotto or Martinez.Golovkin. Different scenario than Sergio. Sergio has his hands down and depends on his reflexes like Roy Jones. Those were gone and Cotto took advantage. Beautifully.

He needs to show he can beat elite before he makes that jump.
People are going to think Cotto is going to duck GGG, Cotto ducks no one, never has. But GGG is the lowest reward with a high risk. In the sense that he is not a money maker does not have a high fan base, and Cotto could lose, even though I personally think he doesn't.
Cotto's only 2 options are. Mayweather or Canelo. I am leaning more towards Canelo because of the relationship he has with Top Rank and HBO. Before the Sergio fight he turned down 10mil for the Canelo fight. I can only imagine that would go up if Canelo was to win against Lara, which is a tough task.
So everyone needs to drop this GGG talk because it is not going to happen.Comment
