The guy that trained Pierre in conditioning knows what the hell he is doing and it was wise for Roach to get him for Cotto.

I hope he fights middleweights at middleweight and no catch weights. But it seems he's going to go the route on dudes going up to face him. This opens up a lot of options for Cotto.

I'd like to see a Canelo vs Cotto showdown if Canelo wins. It would be huge.

Amen to that. Larry what are your thoughts on the overall fight? I honestly feel that Sergio wouldn't have had an answer for Cotto's left hooks even 2 years ago do to his style.

thats right, these guys on here are acting like serg is some kind of super boxer, he is a great athlete that got by on talent, even 2 years ago he would have had no answer nor adjusted to that left hook because hes simply not a great boxer, great boxers dont get hit by the same punch for the whole fight they adjust... hes never faced a really good technical boxer either and it showed... so yes i agree he would have put up more of a fight a few years back but he would have still lost, he makes toooo many mistakes

Cotto was fantastic last night. Major props to Cotto. In fact, I thought last night that Cotto looked better than almost every other boxer out there. He looked almost as sensational as he did when he fought money May back in 2012.

Cotto's scintillating performance really goes to show just how great Money May truly is and why he is in fact TBE. Cotto pretty much destroys anybody around his weight as long as it is a fair fight without plaster or catch weight.

The fact that TBE is really the only guy to legitimately defeat Cotto is a testament to TBE's greatness

I knew Cotto was the best fighter Martinez ever saw, hell I even call Martinez getting his ass hurt in the first round. Cotto outboxed him beautifully.
