No announcement yet.

I have no doubt in my mind that the Cotto we saw tonight will **** GGG up.

Its not the power it depends on how flush and accurate Cotto is... He landed a tremendous left hook on Gaele that would have put many men down for the count,he landed the same thunderous shot against Mayorga in the 12th and Sergio Martinez although shot has taken clean punches from many big fighters like Kelly Pavlik and never looked as badly hurt as he was against Cotto from a first round left hook

Cotto has proved he can **** and get middleweights in real trouble if they don't take him seriously... and Cotto realises what he needs to do to keep winning with Roach and thats not give up as much ground as he did in the past,he's still evasive on the backfoot but his in out combinations have been the diffence in his last few fight... they're solid 4 punch combinations, most involving the left hook to the body,he is a better solid combination puncher these days

Freddie and Cotto look like thats what they've focused on,they probably have hundreds of combos drilled into Cottos skull...The tactics against Martinez were amazing and he threw excellent combos which would only work on a southpaw

I also said, Cotto would KTFO Geale.
I think the majority also did, once they saw he was fighting a corpse.

Sure, but he has tremendous power, and GGG took his left hook flush several times, and his legs only shifted a little. Another reason why I think Canelo can't beat Golovkin, I would be rooting for him, but I am not sure his power will be able to bother GGG enough to keep him off him.

Stevens just isn't very accurate tbh.... no point in having a tremendous shot without being able to land it on the sweet spot like Cotto can

Stevens is accurate with his left hook, dunno what you're smoking. It's his money punch. FYI stevens has fought at LHW and knocked out much bigger fighters with his shots.

Btw, If you people think Golovkins left hook won't beat Miguels you're crazy. You don't hook with a hooker, and Golovkin has a monster left hook to the body and face, the best in middleweight.

If Cotto thought he could beat Golovkin, it would have been GGG in the ring against him last night, not Geale. No need to say anything more than that.

After last night I would've thought people would have more respect for Antonio Margaritto. His slow ass walked through 10 rounds of that hell to gradually beat down and end Cotto.

Gennady would take Cotto's fire and give him death.

                    This thread is pointless...

(Just announce me when Cotto has signed a fight with Golovkin -- we'll discuss then...)

Yeah I'm on record saying it now, Cotto beats GGG.

                      Long live the King.
That's easy to say knowing Cotto will never fight him.
