I was surprised so many were convinced, that a guy like Sergio would beat a guy like Cotto. I kept picturing these two in a street fight and my mind would never accept a guy who looks like Sergio, being able to hang with Cotto. Sergio had a great run with guys who were slower, prodded forward with their faces but Cotto is a different animal. A Puerto Rican raised in the funkiest gyms. A pure fighter. I pictured a Pit Bull versus a doberman and it never looked good for the doberman no matter how much, they tried to convince me that this particular doberman, was beast. The only monster in my opinion was Cotto, the other guy, Sergio was simply a fast boxer who was living a dream. A convenient dream for as long as it would last.
