I have the fight recorded, watch the replay, Martinez clearly said no mas porfavor in the corner, he said it twice. He quit, his corner didn't stop it.

I'll empty my wallet, I swear, my word, he quit, in English translation, he said please no more and his trainer said one more ****ing round, he repeated please no more (in Spanish)

The question now: Is Cotto that good.. or is Martinez that worn out?
I guess the only way to find out is GGG/Cotto this fall at MSG.
Then we'll know for sure what each are made of.
Are you sure you are pertaining that comment to me? Truth hurts does it bud? Why singling me out there buddy? That's why I don't predict on any fight, I'll give my two cents but never predicted the outcome of a fight. You know why? Because if I know what the future hold, I would be a billionaire now. But those people that talk like they been in the ring and give their so called predictions with conviction (maybe you're one of em hence the butthurt comment) and now being called out coz they are wrong once again are now giving excuses and getting mad.

^ that'd be a sick fight. But I gotta wonder what's next for Cotto

              1. Canelo has Lara next month, provided Nelo can win impressively him vs Cotto at MW would be a no brainer

              2. Mayweather rematch. Some dude on fcbook is claiming Cotto would destroy Mayweather if they were to fight anywhere north of 155. Thoughts?

              3. Golovkin who faces Geale next month. High risk, low reward. depending on how GGG looks and if he wins, but I still see it as a long shot bout

              4. Tim Bradley - Arum did name drop Bradley as a possible opponent for Cotto, BUT if I'm not mistaken the second Pac-Bradley bout didn't sell all that well so I see a Bradley-Cotto fight as an extreme long shot

that said, sucks for Martinez to go out like this, but Cotto stays relevant and lines himself up for another big fight, which is a win for boxing fans world wide

I know man, it was painful watching him struggle and look lost. He was no where near the level of late 2012. Even so, Cotto was scary good tonight...like a machine or something.

Watching the fight and I think that Cotto just jumped on Martinez early and exposed his flaws. Knees would have probably been more of a factor later on in the fight but I feel from watching it that Cotto just badly hurt Martinez.
