I dont understand why you are acting like Cotto is packing the same power he had at 140-147. This is the same cotto that couldnt hurt Trout or Mayweather at 154.

When has Martinez ever shown a bad chin? He has always shown bad balance problems. Like in the Pavlik and Macklin fights. Cotto's knock downs were clearly the result of that on top of the fact Martinez has a busted right knee and couldnt even bend them.

This is a guy whos style literally relies on his legs.

Before tonights fight people on here was mocking Freddie, saying he don't know **** about boxing. A lot of people on here saying Cotto is too small against Sergio that even a 60% healthy Sergio will beat up Cotto. After the fight and saw how easily Cotto manhandled Sergio, everyone that made those comments are now making an excuse for Sergio's Knees. Like Max said, when Sergio stepped in that ring he wasn't hobbling or limping. He was as his usual self until he got caught with that left hook that sent him across the ring. Those body shots and left hook by Cotto was the key to his victory, yes Sergio's knee gave up on him after suffering those 3 KDs. If you think Cotto didn't improved under Freddie's tutelage, then a lot of people here don't know boxing at all.

NOt at all. I dont think peoples problem with Freddie ROach is his level of intelligence in the boxing community. He has done A LOT and that should be respected. The problems/questions people had for Freddie were/is his ability to teach defense. Though I thought that this training camp with Cotto went extremely well, I DO NOT think that it did enough to answer those questions. He's excellent at what he does. Teaching angles, footwork, and combination boxing.
