Cong**** to Cotto, I was horribly wrong in my prediction. However, from the vibe I'm getting is that Martinez looked horrible (due to age and injuries), I was afraid that would be the case. Haven't seen the fight yet.

Im a big Cotto fan and truly beieve he is the best boxer from PR in 30 years, better than Camacho, Rosario, or Trinidad. But I'd hate he would now campaign as a MW champion. He won the fight, beat the man. But if May or Canelo comes to fight, they should fight at 154. **** catchweights. If you can't fight at 160, you're not the 160lb champ.

I won a bet with a friend, he now has to buy pink crocs and wear them to school for a month. Now THAT IS SATISFYING...

Martinez' trainer was begging him to continue one more round, and Martinez didn't want to, so then the trainer pretended like it was his decision to stop the fight.

The left hand early turned Martinez's legs to spaghetti...

Obviously, Mayweather wouldn't dare to move up to MW to fight Cotto in a rematch...

I've just never seen a lineal champ quit on the stool to a fighter whos never fought at that weight before and whos best division was 2 divisions below

It would've been better to risk getting KTFO than pulling that crap

Cotto won't be defending his middleweight title unless it's a welterweight or super welterweight moving up. End of lineage.

Why are you so obsessed with artificial weight class numbers? If both sides agree, then catch weights shouldn't matter...these weight classes are just artificial numbers drawn up in the sand...

I'm more concerned with seeing good fights rather than worrying about fighters adhering to artificial weight class limits.
