Whowin: Carl Froch vs Roy Jones Jr @ LHW 175?

For this whowin poll we have legend-in-the-making Carl Froch vs the legendary Roy Jones Jr. Should Froch test the waters at light heavyweight against Roy in maybe another big fight for the Wembley Arena venue? Then Carl might be able to gauge how he'll perform at LHW. Take on Hopkins in the next fight, if he beats Jones Jr, making 2 fights which might just fill out Wembley because of the big names, the 175 weight division jump up for Froch, and the inherent risks attached to that.

Both Jones Jr and Hopkins are older, but they're still active and Hopkins is still an elite boxer while Jones Jr still presents a tough test for a boxer moving up from 168. Both legends might appreciate fighting in front of 80k screaming fans in that amazing venue, they'll have a lot of supporters there too and it would be a great experience to have at this later stage of their careers.

Roy Jones jr is a bit over the hill so I'd say Froch by KO

I took Roy by Ko just because it's as a ridiculous answer as the question is in the first place.

'a bit over the hill' is an understatement.

Would you say "old, completely shot to bits and needs to retire" is more accurate?

I don't think I would cross my road to watch a shot to **** jones.

Hopkins would get a bigger crowd due to being champion but there is no way either fight fills Wembley.

Well crap I voted to quick, and assumed he meant them fighting in peak years, so I leapt on the Jones by KO button. Today?, now?, really? May as well ask how Froch would do against Ali.

More like over the hill, rolled into the ocean, sank and fell into an oceanic void only supported by cooled, earth core magma.

The real Roy Jones evaporated with the sweat extruded when cutting to 175 lbs. after winning a HW title.

                    Froch-Calzaghe still would. Guaranteed.
