Camaraderie is great for morale and it seems that Teiru Kino****a's (19-0-1, 3) employers know this as they have been trying to help him get up for the biggest fight of his life.
Kino****a, who recently became a full time boxer, will be fighting for the IBF Super Flyweight title on July 18th when he meets South Africa's Zolani Tete (18-3, 16). Rather peculiarly he'll be having that fight at the Portopia Hotel in Kobe, the place where Kino****a has worked as a floor manager.
As a support for the fighter the hotel has launched a special menu, dubbed the "Teiru Support Menu", which will be running until the end of June. It appears however that the hotel are trying more than just that to encourage Kino****a to win.
The Japanese fighter has been promised the chance to become the assistant manager of the hotel if he wins, however he has also been told that if he loses he'll be punished by being forced to become a dishwasher for the hotel.
