Well Pulev is taller and bigger than Povetkin so Wladimir's plan of leaning and wrestling won't work with Pulev. I also think Pulev would have given Huck more problems than Povetkin gave him.

Btw the reason the IBF elimination tourney "never got off the ground" is because Adamek blatantly and shamelessly ducked Pulev. They won the semifinals, and Adamek declined to face Pulev in the final, despite Pulev's willingness to fight him in Poland.
And besides,Fury kept Kubrat waiting longer when he clearly never had any intentions of facing Pulev, instead looking to cash out against Haye's.glad that fight collapsed on him for the way he treat Pulev.poetic justice, their truly is a lord in heaven.

Pulev is one of those "could rule the division if Klitschko didn't exist" guys. He's not a fatass like Leapai or Arreola nor a hypejob like Wilder. He's a very good fighter who has just flown under western radar.
I don't think he will lose this because of his low quality but simply because his style sucks for beating Wladimir. They have a similar fighting stance and like to fire between their opponents gloves at range and guess which one is 100x better at it? Unless he changes it up he will be picked apart.
On the up side Pulev is almost Wlad's size. Wlad may have a tougher time physically dominating him like he did with Povetkin (who is IMO a better boxer than Pulev).

Pulev would beat Fury
We know Fury is big... So he can beat other big guys who suck or little guys via range/strength.
Once he has to fight other big guys with talent like Wlad and Pulev I don't see him having a single advantage. He fights like soggy cardboard.
