Getting sick of these guys wishing and praying for a wounded lion to enter the ring. How do you promote a fight like that. Our guy haas a chance if the other isn't himself.

You know what i'm noticing about the pro-cotto crowd on here they do all this shhh talking yet very few of them are putting their points where their mouths are...Martinez got dropped in his last four fights...well Cotto is 2-2 in his last four one against laughable mano de mangu Rodriguez and a one eyed Margarito who was still fighting for medical clearance two weeks before the fight so fk is you talking about? Put your points up or STFUComment

Yeah but let's ignore the fact which is publicly documented that people avoided a fight with sergio so bad the commission stripped him of his title and gave it to an undeserving brat. I guess he's supposed to go the 50cent route with opponents and fight them at press conferences since they won't get into the ring with him. The irony is mofo's will sit here and say Ward is the best fighter in the world because nobody wants to face him but in the same breath say Martinez is trash because nobody wants to fight him so he has to fight those with the balls to get into the ring with him regardless of his record. I suppose he's supposed to stay innactive because you don't approve of the guys willing to fight him. Martinez called both Floyd and Pacquaio out and said he'll meet them at 150 if they want..did they fight him? Nope but both fought Cotto...which he lost both btw.Combining the past 6 fights of the opponents that each fighter martinez and cotto have faced when they fought, you get this... We'll I'll educate you since you obviously have just begun to watch Cotto. Until the Margaritto fight Cotto had always finished fights strong. Most of his knock outs are in the later rounds. Traditionally he begins strong, slows through the mid rounds and turns it on again in the late rounds. Watch every fight before the Margaritto fight and you will see how wrong you are, actually you only really need to watch 2 fights Cotto/Mosley and Cotto/Judah.
Note that I'm not commenting on his perceived stamina for this fight, just responding to your never had "great stamina". Cotto had respectful stamina before the Margaritto fight.Comment

They should have sold this fight for $49.95 instead of $65. This is a great match-up, no doubt about that, but it seems they're going to miss out on a lot of general sports fans by pricing this PPV so high. Of course, the PPV people probably know more about this pricing game than I do.Comment
