Haymon has Showtime!!! All Haymon needs is a promoter and Haymon will do the rest.
Al has the best roster in Boxing period. If anything every promoter should be coming to him and trying to get the deal Richard was getting for Golden Boy with Haymon now with them.
Imagine if Goosen became the new Richard ??? You telling Goosen wouldn't take that deal? Until 2016 when Richard can compete/promote again without getting sued!!

Oscar has to completely clean house. Because everyone in golden knew what was going on when Oscar was in and out of rehab, and noone seem to have a problem until Oscar came back and tried to change up the script. So this situation is going to get a lot worst before it gets better.
Doe, don't worry about Oscar, worry about Schaefer and Haymon. They have a lawsuit to settle, which is designed to send a strong message to unscrupulous bullies in the business. Meaning, Haymon won't get out of it unscathed. Either he'll contest a losing battle or pay astronomical sums of money. Haymon's end is nearing.

Berto made millions fighting nobody's for years. I am pretty sure Haymon will get his fighters fights and money. He has a proven record of that!

Really? How? Showtime can't accommodate all these fighters and don't have the same deep pockets HBO have. Happy HBO deals are over for Haymon. Showtime's venture with Money Mayweather failed. They lost money.

Showtime/CBS can have a budget of 3 million for a fight and pay a Haymon fight 2.5 million and fighter B scraps. Haymon literally has been doing this for years with the promise of keeping the big fights on their network. Showtime made an investment with Floyd so they could get the rest of Haymon fighters, call it the best package deal ever for that network.

Saul Alvarez is huge enough to build a large promotion around.

what would make a better list (I tried to compile it a few days ago with middling success) would be the fighters who have been fighting on Golden Boy/Showtime cards who are not signed to GBP contracts and solely operate under the management of Al Haymon. Mayweather is one of those fighters as is Adonis Stevenson and plenty others, and those will be the fighters that we're likely to see break off and contribute to the furthering of the cold war.

Not true.... No one knows exactly what is in these contracts. They are just guessing. From the news that Haymon is bargaining "rights" to certain fighters to Oscar to get Shaefer out from under his no compete clause, I gather that Haymon has more influence than a simple "advisor" over these fighters.

Keep in mind the glory days of Vegas.. You had mob guys masquerading as "food and beverage directors" or other such nonsense titles and yet they were running the whole damn Casino without a gaming license.... Same situation with Haymon and his lack of a promoter's license. Titles don't mean ****, what matters is what the verbiage of the contracts are, exactly.

Haymon is negotiating right now to release some of his fighters to Golden boy together rid of schaefers non compete clause. His stable will be smaller.
