Comments Thread For: Roberto Garcia-Breidis Prescott Set, ESPN on 7/25

On Friday, July 25, 2014, Leon Margules (Warriors Boxing), Dominic Pesoli (8 Count Productions), Tony Grygelko (Seconds Out Promotions) and Julio Marines (Marines Promotions) proudly present "Conquerors", an ESPN Friday Night Fights tripleheader, to be broadcast worldwide, live, from Chicago's UIC Pavilion.

In the night's 10-round welterweight main event, red-hot rejuvenated contender Roberto "La Amenaza" Garcia (35-3, 23 KOs) of Weslaco, Texas, will look to continue his hot streak by taking on hard-hitting and dangerous Breidis "Khanqueror" Prescott (27-5, 20 KOs) of Miami, via Barranquilla, Colombia.

Prescott has spent the last seven years as a top professional, earning a reputation for fight-ending power. Best known for his KO 1 over international superstar and British Olympian Amir Khan
Yeah, great reputation... six years ago. But what has he done besides fuck-all since then? Trounced by Vazquez, trounced by Mitchell, life and death with McCloskey, out-warred by Alvarado, and trounced by Crawford.

A genuine flash in the pan.

I think if Prescott is going to sit and trade with Garcia, this has the making of a FOY candidate. I too want garcia to win by KO to make a statement. I hope he has more output. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't let his hands go as much.

the thing with rob is that he usually takes a little longer to get started. he usually uses the first 2 rounds as feel out rounds
