Froch: "I have no problem going on record and saying I want nothing to do with Ward."

He just finished an interview on skysports news.

    Pity.

Ward already beat him.... so what?

Is this another case of a fighter being called a ducker.... because of somebody who already beat him?

I'm sure he didn't say those words. You really need a source backing up the quotes.

Moreover, it's not a pity, no one wants to see Froch-Ward II

its not that no one wants to see it its that you have guys like Battlingnelson and others who are acting like its needed because somehow ward's victory over him is reduced because it was in AC or it was closer than it appeared.

WHen you have to read repugnant crap like that day in and day out, coupled with the fact ward beat him clearly, its not surprising posters say they don't want to see the fight again.

Well, I only wanted to see it happen in London and I know Ward isn't even trying to leave Oakland so I said guck this potential rematch. Gimme Froch vs GGG or Chavez. Ward can broadcast the fights and keep sounding bitter whenever he talks about those guys. Boring ass fighter.

If that is true, what is the big deal they already fought Froch clearly lost and if true he clearly doesn't think he can do much better.

What does that do other than just saying Ward is clearly better than Froch which is something we already know. The point of rematching someone is to prove they are not actually better so if a guy is willing to admit he is in fact worse than a guy he lost to that is really the end of it.

Just something to accept and move on~

If Froch can get more money by fighting easier opponents then more power to him. You can never blame a boxer for going after the bigger payday. The sport is too brutal to not get paid as much as you can.

But I always thought that he was a warrior whose fighting pride would want him to prove he was the best in the world at his weight. It looks like I was wrong and somewhere inside himself he has conceded that he can only be second best.

To His Credit...HE DON'T NEED HIM! If I was Froch I would finish out my Career in Nottingham because he came to the US earlier in his career to take on Jermaine Taylor then cameback to fight Glen Johnson and Andre Ward. So Froch win lose or draw he can truly say he fought the best of the best during his career so not it should strictly be about PAY DAYS. HE EARNED THAT RIGHT to go for the MONEY as his career comes to a end instead if still trying to PROVE HIMSELF to certain fans who don't want to give the man his credit.

Yes Ward is the better fighter not many would deny that but but Froch is the Bigger Draw. And at this point in his career forget Belts I would much rather be the Bigger Draw with his career coming to a close. Make as much money as you can and step away before it is too late.
