  • Comments Thread For: Haroon Khan Eyes a Pacquiao Run of Winning Titles

While Haroon Khan 4-0 (1) is still in the infancy stage of his professional career, the 23-year-old super flyweight certainly isn’t lacking in ambition when he discussed his long-term goals with BoxingScene recently.

Haroon, the younger brother of Amir – a former WBA Light Welterweight world champion – is using the weight jumping achievements of modern day superstar Manny Pacquiao as inspiration and believes in the long run he’ll be making moves up in weight.

If this kid has a chin that holds up against a puncher then he could very well go to the top. I remember watching him in the amateurs and from memory he had the same kind of speed that amir has,

The Khans all got glass chins. Poppa Khan got fast hands too but got dropped by his mailman with a glancing blow.

If anyone can emulate the career of Manny Pacquiao, it's going to be Haroon Khan

If he wants to do what Pacman has done he will need to have the heart and fighting spirit of a true champion, and a accomplished promotional company that believes in his abilities to get him the right fights.

If you're not going to believe in yourself then who will right?

If anybody Khan then Khan Khan!

This kid isn't active enough imo. He has been a pro for more than a year and he has only had four fights. And it's not like he is being fast tracked either, he is fighting the usual tomato cans.
