BELFAST'S favourite Boxing star Carl Frampton gets his well deserved crack at a World Championship when he challenges former foe Kiko Martinez for the big-punching Spanish boxer's IBF World Super Bantamweight title on Saturday the 6th of September.

The event will be promoted by Cyclone Promotions at a venue in Northern Ireland to be announced shortly and is sure to capture the public's imagination with what will be one of the most intriguing rematches in World Boxing this year.

Both boxers are former European champions and both are in a rich vein of form, having knocked out their last four opponents.

These guys are looking to start their own little rivalry, a la Gatti-Ward. They're not good enough to fight the top dog, Rigondeaux, but they'll have fun and make money fighting each other. lol
