      Come on now..
Maybe you missed Martinez-Williams I. I thought Sergio won that bout as well. A lot of you seem to discount that Martinez is the Middleweight champ of the world! This isn't Delvin Rodriguez or Yuri Foreman. Hell, this isn't even Austin Trout.

Rude awakening coming your way on June 7th.

Well nobody forced Martinez to sign the dotted line.

I have been watching his fights over again these past few days. He is beatable and I sincerely believe Cotto is a notch above Sergio. Anyone can look like a bootleg Roy Jones Jr with slow plodders who block with their faces...

Not as impressed as you are.

Are we still talking about the great Sergio Martinez from 3 or 4 years ago?

Sergio is coming off as the typical euro-latino who thinks a bit too much about himself. Cotto is being cool about it all and not engaging Sergio in the soap opera nonsense.
Euro-Latino? LOL where did you go to school? Who taught geography? Last I checked Argentina is in South America and nowhere near Europe.

What is a "typical euro-latino"? And are you implying Martinez is some privileged white kid? The guy had to quit school at age 13 to help his father provide for the family and was well over 30 when he could make a living with boxing alone. He probably had it rougher than Cotto.

Btw Cotto demanding the champ walk to the ring first was plenty disrespectful.

I thought Sergio won that fight as well. He looked great that night...a warrior. But that was four and-a-half years and two knee knee surgeries ago. I will agree, though, Martinez is much better than the three dudes you mentioned. Yuri was almost embarrassing, and Rodriguez doesn't even belong in the same ring with a name fighter. Sergio is the real deal...old, injured and all.

He's from Argentina... But he lives in Spain... He hasn't lived in Argentina in a long time I believe.

lol Sergio is badass. It seems any time a guy is white and pretty, he's viewed as being soft. Oscar was no slouch, either.
