Britain's worst boxer 'Rockin' Robin Deakin says he won't quit

Now, this guy should by no means be confused with another warrior we have roamin' these pages who goes by the name Rockin'

Rock out, with your **** out

Britain's worst boxer 'Rockin' Robin Deakin says he will not quit - despite 51st successive loss

The 27-year-old refused to pack it in despite a professional record that hasn't seen a win since his debut in 2006

Britain’s worst boxer, “Rockin” Robin Deakin, has vowed to carry on after his points defeat to Pole Damian Lawniczak - despite it being his 51st successive defeat.

His record is so bad he lost his UK boxing licence over fears for his health, previously admitting: “I’ve been a human punch bag.”

And Deaking, who claims to have once had 19 fights in 24 weeks, fought Lawniczak on Saturday evening using a German permit.

However Deakin, who was born with a club foot for which he endured 60 operations and could not walk till he was six, says he will not leave the ring behind.

He tweeted: “Gutted. Got the talent just can’t get out of this rut. The occasion got to me. I won’t quit boxing.”

Indeed, Deakin had hoped that his return to action at the weekend would see him earn back his British boxing licence, saying: "I hope my comeback will make the British Boxing Board of Control give me back my licence so I can carry on living my dream."

Deakin, of Tilbury, Essex was a successful amateur - he reached the British Youth Championships semi-finals – but then turned professional and has slumped to one of boxing’s worst-ever records, winning his first pro fight in 2006 but losing every one since.

The light welterweight has only ever tasted defeat since then, including 12 knockouts.

    He still young, doe

Says Rockin', 'My record does not reflect my talent'

Is he ******ed or is it some intentional troll gimmick for a radio station? Even if you just closed your eyes and windmilled punches you'd manage to win 1 out of 51

There is this Journeyman culture if you can call it in UK where there is set type of boxers who only come out to lose and are rather good at what they do in the sense that they'll test your prospect who recently turned Pro for some minutes and lose on points, but taking minimal damage in the process. Their only wins would be against fellow journeymen. This guy has 40 wins out of 75 amateur fights, so he knows what he is doing.

          Here is an another example:

If you closed your eyes and windmilled punches you wouldn't last a round. Boxing isn't As easy as it looks.

This other dude you give as an example has been stopped 26 times, though.

One of them actually being Amir Khan, looking down his resume. In 2005, when Khan was 3-0.

My mate beat him 3 times. The guy is an idiot. Doesn't live the life at all and somehow expects different results.
