There is defense and then there is Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Rigo was hurt a few times by a sub standard opponent and Donaire got him out of position enough to put him down once.

So no, his defense is not as good.

Rigo has the best defense for sure, Floyd has best upperbody movement though.

I wouldn't say he's better defensively though, Floyd's never been legitimately knocked down
The KD against Zab was legitmate, just not official.

Rigondeaux has never been rocked or forced to bleed.

Not being KD doesnt mean you have good defense. Does Rios have good defense? Just has a good chin.

Uhhh Donaire's KD had nothing to do with defense. They were in a clinch and Rigo was anticipating a "Break".

It wouldn't surprise me if Rigo could dodge bullets

But he has been legit hit before.. What does knockdown have to do with it? That is a measure of chin, not a measure of defense. Floyd has been hit as much if not more than Rigo has. The fact that he takes a punch better doesn't mean his defense is better.

Furthermore, the punch happened during a break. Rigo let his guard down.

Again, we're talking defense, you're talking punch resistence.. What aren't you guys understanding?

Floyd gets hit, too. he just takes the punches better.
