Whats suprising Is that it was the best punch Froch has ever thrown yet Groves was still trying to get up within 10 seconds, so maybe Groves isn't chinny, or that it didn't land properly, maybe Groves rolled with the punch a bit.?

But it made me quite satisfied as well.

Groves didn't try to get up until the ref was waving it off. Only then did he try and he was wobbling around and ended up on a stool for five minutes.

Froch actually "held it together" well post fight. He could have went to town on ginger bollocks and his trainer, but he acted with a bit of class. Now he's entitled to gloat like fuck.

Yes, hes no Mike Tyson he said. But Frochs punches always seems to get the respect of his opponnents like its a battle for survival sometimes for them to last the distance.

He has moderate power and he can maintain that same power for 12 rounds, whereas a lot of fighters lose power as the fight goes on. Froch keeps hitting you moderately hard for the full 12. Kessler is sort of the same in that respect.

I bet it did. Scoring a definitive KO in front of 80,000 people in a fight with a build up like that... That's truly reaching the top of the sport IMO. Good on Froch he deserves it.

Froch was trying to be diplomatic towards Groves after the fight but Groves just threw it back in his face and, again, gave Froch very little credit for the win, even after he got knocked out. So I don't blame Froch for boasting now, in fact I think he has every right to do it after how Groves conducted himself, and how he continues to behave.

It's like Groves is caught in a delusion where, because he won some rounds against Froch he thinks he is somehow his equal. Like he feels that just by winning some rounds he has proven himself to be on the same level. What he needs to realize is that quite a few people win rounds against Froch but most don't win the fight.

Groves should of known how dangerous post round 6 Froch is. He made the mistake and still moans so I have nothing against Froch boasting due to Groves conduct after the fight.

As gifted as Groves is, I was getting tired of his antics. Rubic's cube at a press conference? WTF? Show some respect. Sky face to face I've seen on youtube was plain weird. Froch literally asked Groves, why can't you relax already and go through the pre-match build up like a normal person? Groves for the most part was just staring at Froch with a bewildered look of an offended idiot.

I think Groves somehow triggered karmic justice with his behavior. I hope he learns his lesson.
