Well he is right. Cotto has the classy, calm, polite one in interviews and media events. Cotto hasn't said one derogatory thing about Martinez, unless you consider him telling him the truth about being the B-side.

Sadly some of the posters here are clueless and spineless.

1. Anyone who knows Freddie, really knows him knows that he's a total gentleman who gives everyone (even non pro's) who come to his gym 100% respect.
2. Freddie isn't the type to start ****, but if someone does he won't lay down and take it. He'll hit right back...as in the case with Martinez.
3. Freddie can handle himself quite well, even with his age and disability he would give most of his critics here a *****- slapping for opening their big mouth.
4. Freddie doesn't have to sell this fight.....it will be a big success not matter what the outcome.
5. Freddie does NOT spread himself thin as far as how many fighters he trains. He sets his priorities as it relates to the schedule, the years the fighter has been in his camp and the status of their ranking. If Amir whined and moaned that he wasn't getting enough attention then he's blind to the fact that Manny takes priority and for good reason. Regardless, Freddie has handled his business and career quite well and gets the full respect from those that matter....The Boxing Commission, The Ref's and Judges, The Powers that be at The Broadcast Networks as well as the Promoters. In short....he's a Pro, a class act and is recognized as one of the best if not the best trainer in Boxing today. The haters hate because of envy and jealousy. His track record speaks for itself but sadly it does not reach the ears and minds of the clueless, the mis-informed and the internet bullies.

Last - To mock, ridicule, taunt and laugh at someone because they are disabled, weak, small or timid is nothing more than ignorance and acting like a bully. Those who do are usually the ones who run as fast as they can like a little girl when someone gets in their face.

Haters wake up....we all share a common bond in the love of Boxing and we should all stand united, show some class and act like human beings.
