    Now that I think about it. Something tells me Schaefer and Haymon have been planning this for a loooooonnnnnnggggg time. Think about it, Schaefer brought all these guys into GB without a contract and were also signed to Haymon.

    That tells me Schaefer and Haymon were using Oscar and his company to promote their future fighters cause neither one had a license to promote.

    Its clear as day. And then people say Schaefer and Haymon arent a pair of snakes.

      Because Oscar isn't the one who built the relationships or has relationships with all the people that matter.

            Wow! Looks like Scheafer is a good business man, but his moral compass must not be working at all. He didn't look after the company, he looked after himself and his future. Not signing those fighters to GBP was a calculated move to one day take them with him.

            They say business is business, but that saying is just a justification given by rotten people who look after their own interests and other people of their kind.

            It's better to be able to look in the mirror and be ok with what you see because you can still see your soul behind your eyes then to be afraid to look in the mirror for fear of what you may see inside you.

            I doubt Scheafer has the courage to try to find himself still in there. What he and Haymon did to Oscar is just completely f ucked up. No matter how you look at it, it's wrong and just makes them look like s hitty people.

            Poor Oscar. He hired a CEO and got a person who looked after the interests of himself and Haymon instead of the company he was hired to look after.

              Are put it in fl0mo terms....

              Haymon = Arum
              Schaefer = Koncz

              Arum (Haymon) hired Koncz (Schaefer) to screw over Manny (Oscar) and look out for their best interest.

              Simple.

              As if Oscar didnt have enough problems with his addiction. Now he has to worry about what happened. Hope he doesnt turn to drugs to ease the stress.

                  Haymon and contracts are nothing new. It's been reported a long time ago that Haymon steers his fighters far away from lengthy contracts with ANY Promoter. Great for fighters, but might not be so good for a Promoter.

                  I don't see it as snake ****. I see it more as two guys (Haymon and Schaefer) who had a great working relationship. Even though a guy like Trout wasn't signed to Golden Boy exclusively, Trout was still being promoted by Golden Boy like an exclusive Golden Boy fighter. So as long as Schaefer and Haymon were on the same page, they would keep doing business together, keep making profits, and all exclusively with Golden Boy despite the lack of contracts for some fighters.

                  I don't think the plan ever was to take an entire boat of fighters and make their own entity. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

                    It happens all the time. Anytime owners leave their shop, restaurant, or any business entity, the guy who you trusted to manage for a while will find a way to screw you. He may even plan to get rid of you. It's human nature.
