Tito's losses came after he was no longer making his prime weight of 147. To say he retired because he lost is silly. And the fact that he was after Hopkins for the IMMEDIATE rematch contradicts your opinion. He did not say "I retire" after that loss, he hounded bernard for the rematch. After that, he fought and TKO'd Charifi and Mayorga. Loss to winky...Nobody left he wanted to fight... Came back and fought a bigger guy like Roy Jones, who was a bigger man...Roy not only fought at HW, but took Ruiz's shots, beat Ruiz and had all the attributes that cause Tito problems historically. You talking about heart?

Nah... Tito does not need fans like you.

I like Cotto too, but I don't need to bring Tito down a notch, so as to raise Cotto's stock.

Trinidad is about the last thing on earth that lacks heart. He had a big fighting heart. Dropped at times, outboxed at times, hurt at times, he always fought on and never quit. He would have fought Godzilla if Godzilla was a boxer, especially if Godzilla disrespected Puerto Rico. He would be a hell of a force in just about any era. He was a vicious puncher and equal finisher. Those were some heat-sinking missiles he threw. Always fun to watch.

Exacto. The Chicken Broth Killer was one of the greatest.
