I believe eventhough its just dumb speculation that by the time Bradley extended Bob started throwing money/incentives to both the fighters so they would both extend their contract.

I cant garantee he would make more than 20M as a free agent, but there is a precedent with a free FMJ getting 32M as a free agent. manny is the second best cashcow.

Now can u explain to me how manny will make the fight with FMJ happens if this is true????

manny's purse against rios was $18mil i believe. its safe to say manny is getting anywhere from $18-25mil per fight after ppv, etc. depending on the opponents and how big the fight will be. so blame manny for the fight not happening because he chooses to re-sign with TR? so what about floyd not willing to work with arum when he had no problem in 09,10,11,12? how about floyd leaving gbp now that it seems TR and gbp will be doing events together?

and floyd getting $32mil being a free agent, but look who is backing floyd up and is coughing up the money for it? manny's biggest supporter is from bob and TR, if manny walks out who will be willing to step in and guarantee him $20+mil a fight? LOL!!!!! its a no brainer why he extended his contract.

Oscar is clearly plotting some shady ****, so he leaves and is putting together a stable to take both of them apart.

Manny is a puppet on a string, Floyds genius and business mind will eventually mean Manny can not run from him anymore.

Floyd is not only dominating in the ring but he is starting to take over outside it aswell.
Floyd is amazing I heard he's gona cure cancer and put and end to world hunger while he's on vacation

Hey Evol you've been on a roll, ive never seen you post rationa/ logical . I have to rank you higher

Hey if he is getting that kind of money, there isnt much to hate on the business side of things honestly. i agree on that. The problem is that paman portrays himself as someone who was dying to fight FMJ for 4-5 years. which we can finally conclude he wasnt. He isnt much different than FMJ at the end of the day, money means pretty much everything to him and honour and fans far less. the same goes to FMJ btw.

some just had hopes that he would have been a free agent for one fight for the fans and then he could go back to Arum no problem. one middleman would have been cut out(ARUM). vice versa difference with the FMJ situation would be that if pacman left ARUM there would be theoritically no middleman and maximum profit for FMJ and Pacman. If FMJ were to chase Pacman post showtime contract, he still had to deal with a middleman(Arum), as a layman that doesnt seem to be max. profit for the fighters, because of the middleman still being there.

if pac leaves arum, that means he'll need to hire someone to secure a spot to fight at, promote the fight, etc. if he co-promote with another company it aint gonna be free so either way he's gonna have to cough up money out of his own pocket. if he stays with TR all that gets taken care of and all he has to do is train show up and collect his check. i dont think manny has the time to be a free agent and i really dont think he cares about it, he has other shiiet on his to-do list.

and going off topic back to what u said earlier about floyd being a free agent and getting $32mil. if floyd leaves haymon and showtime do u think he'll still make that type of amount per fight?

Thats pure speculation, but potentially yes it could happen. FMJ as long as he is undefeated is a draw and can generate high PPV numbers. The better question is against which fighters can Manny or floys generate 1M PPV s?

FMJ: Cotto, Canelo and (if Marquez would beat manny again convincing vs) Marquez.

But all in all if Pacman is getting 20M garanteed for 5 fights thats good for him. I still dont think he did things the perfect way as Konz never negotiated with GBP. You'll only know your market value if there is some sort of bidding IMO. Konz also doesnt seem neutral(a relationship with Arum etc.)

Does this have any impact on the possibility of Mayweather-Pacquiao?

None. Mayweather remains under contract to Showtime and is with Haymon. Mayweather has also repeatedly said he would not do business with Arum, who recently re-signed Pacquiao to a two-year contract extension. From what I am told, Arum got financial help from HBO in closing the Pacquiao deal and then pledged loyalty to HBO on Pacquiao fights. The two boxers will keep fighting on different networks, and the same problems remain as far as how to split the money and various other issues. Bottom line: Still no fight.
FMJ(and Bhop) probably allready knew that if he would have resigned with Bob, that the fight wouldnt happen.

A pusssy move: how do you call manny knowing that FMJ is exclusive on showtime signing an exclusive HBO contract when his contract is about to run out? get real man.

That ended the minute Manny signed that contract that locked him in at HBO with arum. Both Manny and Floyd did the same thing yet the onus is on flux to make the fight happen? Doesn't make sense. Floyd is locked in with a Showtime guarantee and Manny is locked in with an HBO guarantee. Time to let it go. Netihwr guy wen out of their way to make the fight happen.
This is/was my whole point..All the pointing of fingers, and saying this one is to blame or that one is to blame is ******..Both sides have faults and have some blame..That's the truth of the matter..
