Mhm the reason should be the same as why guys take their titles to America to defend in the challengers hometown - money. Frankly I'm not sure which side of the pond the fight would draw bigger revenue on, I just want to see Brook in with a legit world class opponent.

I agree 100%, but there are flies in the soup. Nowadays there are so many championships, that some can be taken without being noticed. Others change hands so quickly, there's no time for travel. And it happens everywhere, not just America, the Scots have Burn, the Irish have Frampton. I would love to see an American invasion to set things right.... uh I digresss.

Don't think Brook wants any of Porter. He seems content fighting unknowns in his backyard. If he does step up I'm willing to put up all of my points that Porter brakes him down easily. Don't think it makes it to the twelfth round

I just want this damn fight to get signed,,

I think it's a great fight for both guys, and will raise the profile of both guys..

And the fight itself will be pretty entertaining, I like porter by decision, but he will have to work for it

There's one reason to go overseas and it's not your reason. The only reason is money. BUT I do believe that as the champion, it is your decision whether the money is more or less important than your sense of comfort at home.

In this case I don't think Porter necessarily makes more money overseas and as far as wanting to prove he is the best in the world by doing so is just plain ******. Shouldn't the challenger want to prove he is better than the champion and go to his hometown? Porter has already proved as much, that's why he is the one holding the belt, it's the challengers turn to make his point.

Right now Froch's next mandatory in line is Stanyslav Kastanov. Could you imagine that fight being held in Kastanov's backyard in the Ukraine just because Froch was willing to prove he is the best in the world, not just his backyard? Yea, that would be ridiculous right? Same goes for US champions fighting UK challangers

Being British, I want this fight over here, so I can go and watch it live. As a fan of boxing, I don't even care who wins. Anywhere in UK (London, Manchester, Sheffield) a Porter Brook fight would do 20k easy. Doubt it would be PPV worthy but hey, i'm not sure what numbers Porter does stateside. Brook needs the step up and 'ahem' stop getting injured when a big fight arises. I'm thinking Eddie Hearn is possibly gonna go for the purse bid, He knows it'll sell well over here.

Froch is an 'International Superstar' who has traveled the world and fought the best... Porter can't make that claim yet! Also if the money was good, Froch would fight anywhere, he's that dude!

Porter is the future Kell Brook... is meh fringe levels not a real world championship material fighter, he can have a couple nore tune ups and retire and not a buzz is given.

Porter to school him and likely KO Kelly in championship rounds.
