His fighters will be forced to fight each other now, which is great for the fans. Broner vs Thurman/Garcia/Matthysse/Porter/Guerrero/Berto will be huge. Only downside is it will be the end of Broner.

It's not hate, it's actually envy.

          .

I suspect in the longer term the plan was a bit bigger - to make Haymon / GBP (schaefer) / SHO boxing into a single managerial - promotional - broadcasting entity somewhat akin to the UFC.

Why it's coming apart now I'm unsure but it seems to me that it wasn't at the time Haymon etc woulda chosen. Perhaps the Duva case has kinda forced their hand, or maybe DLH came outta rehab a bit too early.. who knows?

The fallout will provide plenty of interesting detail I'm sure, but I'm just hoping some of those fights we've been wishing for can finally happen.

            What was Maidana/Broner & Garcia/Matthysse?

haymon had a plan together with schaefer...to monopolize boxing.

looks like that is falling apart which is a good thing.

Yea, because Haymon is putting a gun to fighters heads and forcing them to make him thier advisor.

Broner lost and he came back fighting a nobody. Provo loses and comes back fighting the champ, Alvarado. Alvarado lost and came back fighting Marquez. Same thing with Rios.

Who was Matthysse last fight? Who was Garcia's last fight?

See the difference? Haymon fighters lose and they're back fighting bums, not loser vs loser. They are over protected.

I think CBS was definitely going to bankroll that as part of a "combat sports" thing. I'm glad that won't happen because I HATE mma and never watch.

ODH and schaeffer really had a big falling out and its crazy seeing how close they appeared to be and how much they did as a team.

I hope the fights happen as well. But they wont until HBO elects to put Haymon managed fighters on their network.
