Going to my first boxing match

Hello, im new here. Me and my friends are going to our first boxing match this Saturday to watch Cotto-Martinez in MGS. Just wanted to know what type of stuff is there to do, I dont want to miss the experience of it all. Also it says on the tickets that it starts 6pm? But fights usually start around 9pm right? Also is it likely that I will see a lot of famous boxers that i can take pictures with, like could I see mike tyson or Roy Jones? After the fight could I take a picture with Cotto or Martinez?

If you wanna watch the undercard fights go early. Get some drinks, and go crazy and have a good time with your boys. You can have some great boxing convos with other fans there, and regarding a photo with cotto, from what ive heard hes a **** so dont expect one lol. but if you see other boxers just ask nicely most of the would be happy to take a pic, some will even have a small convo with you if theyre not to busy. Have fun should be crazy inside msg on sat

Get out there a bit early 8PM EST. Soak in the environment and you'll have a better chance of running into some celebs and boxers. Almost no chance of actually getting a pic with Cotto or Martinez.

Yea, fighters are usually cool with you taking pics with them. This'll be a huge event, so it'll be kind of hard.... there'll be a bunch of people though to take pics with

Every time I go to a fight I get there early to watch the undercard, find my seat, go to the bar double up on drinks so I don't miss any action and talk boxing with other fans. You should have a great time.

If you are free, you might also want to go to the weigh-in on Friday. You will probably have more access to the fighters and other boxing folks that happen to be there.

Go when the doors open and watch all the undercards.. Usually the place will be empty but for a few fans and fighters's families, so whatever you shout will be heard by everybody.. One time in Chicago, zab Judah got into the ring with an undercard fighter he supported, and we shouted at him and got acknowledged from him..

And at the Devon-Maidana fight, Roy jones came out early before it was televised to get wired up by producers, and he stopped and chatted with fans and we got our pics taken with him, he was really nice...
