Geale a C- level guy? Damn.. you set the bar high.

Seems to me the whole MW division suddenly went to s#it when GGG beat Macklin in 3.

Lemieux or Rubio? Well, I kinda get the point with Moo - but that was what Stevens was supposd to do - give GGG a chincheck.

Rubio - yeah, tough as nails warrior, but with about a quarter of Geales skill - yeah, I guess it'd prove a point to the Mex-Am fans but do you really see a contest there?

At 160 the only real fight for GGG of any value now is the real MW title fight with Sergio. Quillin to me is another Berto feasting on softies holding that WBO title hostage but at least put him in there with someone dangerous-ish who isn't going to make for a boring fight.

Troll Spray already saying the same thing in this thread. Yawn.
It's funny reading dan's comments on that thread, if he says he's frustrated now he's going to be 10x worse if Golovkin beats Geale and unifies the titles against Soliman before the year is out.

As good of fight we ware going to get for ggg in July..

Wonder how ggg year will end assuming he beats geale... The serg fight would be the one to make, maybe Solimon, or a trip to 168 for a big name

Maybe take the WBC belt off of Bika, give him a nice payday and it should be a good fight that GGG should win which would give him some unification leverage later.

If he gets past Geale, I think he'll fight Soliman and Murray before the end of the year.

For some reason I don't see the Martinez fight happening.

Bika probably isn't a big enough name,, I was thinking more along the lines of Chavez, froch, ward, Kessler or even Abraham..

Bika vs ggg is a good fight, but bika doesn't bring the big name status that ggg is looking for in an opponent

Abe could make him some money and he could get that WBO belt which would set him up for a Froch unification. I don't see the Ward fight ever happening because GGG is building his star power while Ward is just wasting his career in disputes but probably won't settle for less money because he is the real champ. He is kind of in a Winky Wright situation.

It's clear the Murray won't fight ggg, he has passed up many chances in the past so I doubt it happens anytime soon.. Solimon is a good possibilty, and I think a bidding war is going to break out for Solimon, since he seems like the easiest path for a lot of fighters to gain a belt..

Murray has literally thrown away all momentum he had after the sturm and serg fights.. People, myself included, felt he was one of the top 3 or 4 mw, but he really is only an afterthought now on big fights..

got respect for Geale doing this. Wish Sergio was as brave.
