Someone (supposedly in the know) posted on twitter a while back that he has a fairly big stake in GBP. More than what Oscar could probably buy them back with.

I just wish Mayweather-Pacquiao could finally get made, not that I think Schaefer was the issue. Just wishful thinking.

Some Cat's might Split, but the opportunity to fight T.R. Fighters,

should keep many of them, with Oscar!!!

Golden Boy will be fine. Shaefer was able to build up Golden Boy because sponsers and TV networks wanted to be associated with ODL. Without Oscar's involvement Shaefer wouldn't have been able to have nearly as much success. Numbers guys like Shaefer are a dime a dozen. Nothing Shaefer did is worth a tenth of what having Oscar's name associated with the company is worth.
I wonder how this affects Floyd's relationship with Golden Boy? Will he finally break away and try and promote his own shows? Is Floyd or Haymon willing to take that financial risk?

Terrible news for me. I hope Schaefer lands on his feet again within boxing.

              things are getting interesting though!
If Espinoza is fired after this year, which he should be, then we might get to see HBO and Showtime work together.

Yea -- plus he probably gets more as part of his package. And people wonder how the rich stay rich.

I think Oscar let his emotions and pride get in the way. Richard proved himself, he held GBP down while De La Hoya was going through his sht. Thanks to Schaefer we started getting great undercards and fights, including the biggest boxing event of all time.

All this just to work with Top Rank again? it's not worth it in my opinion. All TR has to offer is a fading Manny Pacquiao, 40 year old Juan Manuel Marquez, overrated Tim Bradley and Ruslan Provo. Oscar and Richard should of just worked their differences out and let HBO , Bob Arum and TR die out. Oscar is basically going out his way to save Bob Arum smh.

Everyone knows who built that company. What's gonna happen now; the junkie gonna make the calls? Its a dumb move on Oscar's side trying to save Arum, now an ass of his fighter's are gonna leave, along with the business mind of the organization.
