No he wasn't, it was a close fight, Danny had a very good last round, it was just a very close fight. Skelton should have had points deducted for all the fouls anyway.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he was robbed, it was a close fight and he probably deserved the decision but it was too close to be a robbery

skelton won yes, but i think the judges took the dirtyness into personal feelings!
still williams gave hell of a final round to skelton, if williams didnt slip, i rekon skelton wudda dropped!

does this mean that danny williams is the best HW from the UK right now?

he holds two consecutive (though split decision) wins over two undefeated UK "prospects" in a span of only 2 months. IMO, thats pretty impressive.

I think Skelton will want a rematch, the main priority will be to get Danny a world title shot but it would be nice to see Williams vs Skelton 2 if he doesn't get one.
