Kessler vs. Bika? Kessler vs. DeGale? Kessler vs. Groves?

Why would he do that tho? Why not a tune up after a long layoff and contemplating retirement? If he wants a Froch fight he might have to do a tune up. And if he wants one of those names then make it Bika on the Froch-Chavez undercard.

Froch should not fight DeGale, that's a ****** fight. DeGale and Groves should fight each other.

Kessler would be a good fight if... 1) This time in neither Denmark or England, but on neutral ground. 2) Kessler has been off for some time now, I would like to see him beat Arthur Abraham or Sakio Bika first, just to prove that he's still dangerous.

As for Chavez... While that would never have been my preferred choice, I would love for Froch to fight Chavez i Las Vegas, it just seems like such a fitting end for his career.

If Golovkin beats Geale, then Golovkin could also be interesting, and I would love for Ward to fight Froch in UK, although Ward won't do that.

So basically... Kessler under the right circumstances or Chavez.

The writing is on the wall for Froch. I think perhaps a few years ago he wouldn't have even used the strategy he did recently against Groves, which basically gave away the early rounds. That one magic punch isn't always there, though the Cobra has found it a few times now.

As much as I'd like to see him scrap with Kessler, Mikkel is even further towards retiring than Carl, and I don't know that I'd like to see Froch go out in a 'best of what's left in the tank' fight.

The Cobra hinted at wanting a big Vegas fight to accomplish another goal and that leaves one guy - Chavez Jr.

It should stylistically be a decent enough fight and it allows Carl to come stateside and see what he can do against Julio.

He can always fight Kessler and finish his career in Vegas vs Chavez Jr BUT....

He will risk losing (which I dont think he will) and he will risk Chavez Jr losing. And if Chavez Jr loses then say bye bye to Vegas or even a PPV fight.

I am a little surprised that noone thinks he should retire. Think about it. The final fight at Wembley in front of 80k people. The final punch of his career would be the best right hand he ever threw!

Awesome note to Call it a day on.

Yea I would say he can't go wrong with retiring.

But as fans, we wanna see him again and think he is favourite in Chavez and Kessler fights.

Kessler said publicly that he only wants 'big fights'.

Beating Bika would win him the WBC strap; beating DeGale would get him the IBF mandatory spot; and beating Groves more convincingly than Froch would get people talking about a rubber match.
