Does anyone think froch body work set up the KO?

I did. Froch did it last time, and he really did it this time.

Groves hands were lower imo from the feeling the power in the mid region. Just ask Yusef Mack what its like to be hit by froch.

Yes the left hand was a decoy and a clever veterans trick, but imo it was the body that made groves lower his left hand side.

    Thoughts?

yes it did, the body work got Groves to drop his hand but the little feint with the left was enough to throw Groves off track, it really was a terrific KO.

      Yes, both fights.

First fight, Groves was doing all the eye-catching work. Froch was taking 2s and 3s but he was thudding in body shots in reply. No one was talking about it. Sure enough, a few rounds later Groves was done and Froch was on the front foot.

the **** kind of question is that? of course it did. why not ask if anyone think froch's right hand to the chin caused george to go to sleep while youre at it?

the set up left hand isnt a "clever vetarans trick" either, its a basic combination.

calm down mate. it wastn really mentioned much by the sky team. They kept ****ing on about froch jab, but for me, body work is such a underated trait.

It not only sets up attacks but sure weakens the opponents attacks.

The fight turned as soon as Froch focused more to the body.

BTW, is George Groves even good, or does he just match up well with Froch? How would GG fare against Carl's resume?

Froch concentrated his lead attacks and combinations low on many if not the majority of his assaults throughout the fight. Groves was clearly not prepared for 3-2 upstairs at the end. Froch did a number on him.

True. No one's talks about the body work, but it did a lot.
