Agree ... don't think Cotto can hurt Sergio . Plus Sergios fought some big dudes and he was able to take their punches pretty good. You forget that Cotto's last 4 victories have all come inside the distance and his KO ratio is still over 70%.

The ignorance on this board honestly is beyond astounding. I can remember Tito moving up to Challenge the unified & undisputed middle weight Champion...We all know how that one ended. Cotto's case is even far worse than Tito's. You can't name a fight where miguel hasn't gassed & began to throw fewer & fewer punches while beginning his horrible "up on ur toes" back pedal. Freddie says miguel is a hard worker...I believe him. But miguel has always been lazy as well. Always had that lil pouch at the bottom of his tummy. Cotto's style is too methodical too slow for guys who have fast hands & high output. He plods fwd w/ his hands high & crouched over. Which is why Tony was able to obliterate him in their 1st meeting w/ uppercuts. His true saving grace & the reason why I respect him is bc of his resume. He's literally been in the ring w/ everyone & every style. lefty's, movers, boxers, boxer/punchers/ brawlers, tall guys, short guys, fast guy,slow guys....literally. Cotto has faced many styles. Nonetheless, he is out of his depth here. He is not a superb athlete like Pacquiao. Sergio won't be draining himself to make a weight he hadent made in like a decade. Sergio isn't a part-time promoter & boxer like DLH was....He is the number one fighter in the Div. The one thing people (including roach) fail to realize is that for like 60 fights Martinez has been fighting that style....hands down...reflexes. & not ever been battered. HE lost to tony as a welter weight & relatively young & new to the sport. Tony is a beast. he simply wore him down. But had they met a few years ago at 54...he would've put tony 6 ft under. Martinez is a very hard & sharp puncher like pacquiao...minus the weird angles & awkwardness. Miguel knows he can't rush SM like he did Rodriguez's bumazz. That's the one style that gives Cotto hell....sharp hard punchers who can catch him in between shot. JCC jr has an iron chin. Miguel does not. Somehow he's letting freddie gas him up. But trust me...once he feels one of those straight shots...he'll clam up like everyone else. There is a reason much bigger guys decide not to openup against Sergio.....HE HITS HARRRD!! Cintron thought he got hit w/ a head butt. It was a fast sharp str left. Cotto can't take that. The only reason Miguel did relatively well vs floyd is bc floyd's low output. I will say cotto's other saving grace is his timing. He has very good timing & disguises his power jab well. We'll see how he uses it.

The last thing I'm going to say is that I also think having his camp at full strength w/ both Sarmiento brothers there is a HUGE plus. They are a very intelligent core group. Sergio is a very proud champion & he's going to show why someone who should be no higher than welter doesn't just jump up to grab the most prestigious title in boxing next to HW....I'll see you bi*ches at the fight live!!

it's simple, my prediction is Cotto will eventually come out that he's gay. Might take a few years! Being gay is DISFUNCTIONAL period!! It's not how we're created. Not even animals live out of there element! No sorries& no excuses! I hear the bible speaks AGAINST it too!!

Actually ****sexuality has been observed in other species in the animal kingdom. Also the Bible say's a lot of crazy things. It promotes cannibalism, ****, and genocide. Not sure if using the Bible to put yourself on a moral high ground is smart.
