Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: I May Finish My Career Off at 154-Pounds

British star Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) reveals that his rise in weight is not exactly done. The 27-year-old boxer, who fought at 135 and 140, officially moved up to 147-pounds last month and won the WBC silver welterweight title with a decision win over former champion Luis Collazo.

Khan's chin seemed to have problems at 135 and 140. He feels the move to 147, and eventually a rise to 154, will make his chin and body stronger. Khan has the frame and height to compete at 154, but it remains to be seen how he handles the top names at welterweight.

Khan would have a good chance of beating Andrade for a title imo.

Khan can definitely become a 3 division World Champion, no doubt. Add the fact his chin, which only adds to his achievements, but first thing is first and that is an another solid WW win.

Khan can beat guys like Molina, K9 and Ishe Smith but everyone else murders Khan. Lara, Canelo, Andrade, Julian Williams and the Charlo Twins beat the hell out of Khan.

I think a lot of the Kahn hate is he talks too dang much. Bragging and strutting has a long history in boxing but you got to back it up. Kahn has a mixed history at that. To me, he should tone down the future talk and focus on more short term statements than back them up. Become a "I did what I said would do bad MOFO" type fighter. Won't happen though. Dude loves to hear himself dream out loud.
