  • W. Klitschko wouldn't mind giving Povetkin a revenge fight, in Kiev

From the Klitschko Brothers' FB page, Wlad has stated that he wouldn't be against giving Povetkin a rematch - but the prospective fight must take place in Kiev, in the Olympic Stadium (capacity 68k).

My translation - Wladimir Klitschko would not mind fighting another bout with Russian Alexander Povetkin, with the condition that the fight takes place in Kiev. "I can give Povetkin a revenge match, but that fight would have to take place in Kiev. We have a wonderful arena - the NSC Olympiyskiy (National Olympic Stadium), where such a fight could take place."

Would you like to see a rematch, hopefully with a good referee to cut out the clinching? Could this be another open air stadium superfight? Is this the best matchup that can be made in the HW division skill for skill?

What would be the point of that? If Povetkin shows up at the top of his game, Wlad will ****** him again.

Wlad clearly knows Povetkin is going to ruin Stiverne and Wilders short lived WBC fantasy

If he fights them, hopefully he doesn't just run head first into their stomachs without throwing a punch like he did against Wlad.

              God no.

One of the worst fights of Wlad's reign, which is saying something. It was dreadful. Holding, leaning on, pushing over....and a punch here and there.

Hence why he could do it again and actually put in a good performance, free from the dirty tactics. I don't want this fight, yet anyway, but if Povetkin puts him in a position to fight...provided there is a good ref, this could be a good fight and a great event. The problem is, these styles don't really match...Povetkin is just going to run in every time and it's going to be ugly most probably, or slow paced...even with a good ref.

As a Klitschko friendly, I do really believe that a second Povetkin fight might be very dangerous fight for Wladimir. Pvetkin is incredibly athletic and has an amazing footwork.

If I had to fight Povetkin I would very hardly find any sparring partner that fight the way he fights.

If Wladimir wants to beat Povetkin in a convincing fashion he should work very hard on his stamina and prepare a very special jab.
