Nobody wants to see Ward in the UK. I highly doubt a rematch with Ward would sell more than 4000 tickets and it definitely wouldn't be PPV.

Hopkins is just about tolerated because he is charismatic funny and ancient (mind you even he never fought that way as a young man). Ward is just flat out monotonous and there is no excuse for a man in his prime to fight in such an detrimental way to the sport. He is anti-boxing.

on the power, i agree for the most part. froch's right hand on a stationary target is probably bigger than anything ward can muster.

that said, ward hit rodriguez with a left hook that would have dropped or hurt every SMW on the planet. i know rodriguez pretty well. he's a huge guy, and he's always had a fantastic chin, going back to his amateur days. he has power. these are SMW, not little guys.

Ward should fight in his actual hometown. At Cow Palace or something, people in San Francisco would probably go watch him.

But seeing as how Oracle is right off a BART train it probably won't happen. People in the Bay Area will usually get behind their athletes but Andre Ward is an unknown. If I had to make a guess on my experiences only 2/10 people you ask in the Bay Area would know Andre Ward.
