He didn't quit. What the hell is everyone talking about saying Donaire quit? When did this happen? He was out in the center of the ring ready to start the 5th. -
i don't think donaire quit. he clearly wanted to continue but the ref and the officials said "no".

he didn't quit. But he didn't win in my book, I had Vetyeka winning the first three rounds, meaning Donaire lost by a point. I do respect Donaire for offering to rematch him, but I doubt we'll see this fight againComment

I dont blame him some people dont like to get cut, and after scoring that kd he had the fight in the bag if it was stop right there, so he took the easy out instead of maybe loosing because of a handicap.

It was a whack stoppage. Especially during the post fight interview, Donaire seemed to purposely close his left eye with his right eye as both went down, lol. I feel he was def uncomfortable with the cut and wanted out but didn't want to do it from his corner. How many times did he pull backwards when a punch landed?Comment
