what's the point? we know how it would play out.

ward should be looking at kovalev and stevenson and froch should be looking at chavez jr and golovkin.

It shouldn't happen and Froch doesn't want it to happen. Ward looks like he's dying to do it again. I'd like to see Froch with Chavez, for Ward I don't see anyone in his weight class who's competitive and the only time a fighter should move up is if he's just growing out of the weight class. Ward looks comfortable with his weight. Why force the issue when it will come naturally.

you know damn well thats not the whole story, man.

froch does bring more money to the table and that needs to be accounted for when making a deal.

but ward being the legitimate champion at he weight needs to be accounted for too, how can you just ignore that?

if ward was to travel to the UK (and froch doesnt seem willing to entertain fighting him otherwise despite claiming he wants a fight in vegas) he needs to be reimbursed for that sacrifice as well, which should all in all give him the larger share of the revenue.

People saying that the first fight was too much of a white wash to make the second fight interesting need their heads checked...Froch ended very well ... look at last nights fight and compare it to the first one then look at the Kessler fight and compare it to the first one.. Froch has a very good chance of beating Ward...Froch never looked right in the fight with Ward

There is noone else who deserves it though. Are you saying Froch doesnt deserve the right to try and avenge his defeat? They are clearly the best two SMW's in the world and Ward has been inactive and injured. It could be different second time or it could be the same, but my point is that Froch has earnt it more than anyone else.

Didn't Ward beat Froch decisively last time when he was injured?

Eddie Hearn wont make the rematch though, you're likely to see JCC Jr take on Froch in Vegas

Someone tell me has Chavez Jr ever been knocked down???
Surely this Chavez Jr fight is going to put Froch at a huge weight disadvantage.
I dont see that simply because Froch isnt the kind of bloke who would let Hearn dictate who he fights. Froch hasnt got long left and has repeatedly stated his desire to turn that result round. He may well fight JCC jr first, but Ward has to be after, surely.

None of us can be sure how the injury affected him in that fight, if at all. But this is boxing, just because the fight went one way a few years ago, doesnt always mean it will be the same.
