  • Golovkin is still the best middleweight out there, but once you venture into the super middleweight, it's a different story. Guys there are big, strong and fast. Golovkin would get punished by Froch in there most likely and his best chance is landing a solid shot in a wild exchange that Froch sometimes gets into. Froch is the much bigger man and he'll look two weight classes bigger than Golovkin come fight night.

The jab would easily be countered you're talking about a world class amateur who is great at countering.
GGG is a world class fighter with much more technical ability and arguably more power than Froch even Froch admits that Gennady is a big puncher.

Golovkin would either take it to a decision or probably be the first man to knock him out and I reckon the knock out would definitely happen with that defense...

Its not about taking shots to the chin its about taking as little punishment as possible.
Froch not big for super middleweight? He looked like a light heavyweight in there in the second Groves fight. He looked huge. Much bigger than Groves who isn't a small super middleweight. Golovkin could no doubt beat Groves, but Froch would be too big and awkward for Golovkin.

GGG has a much better pedagree then Froch thou, As much as I love both fighters GGG will outbox Froch and I see Froch getting reckless and getting knocked down once or twice and lose in a UD..

Froch aint getting KOed thou and for people that say he is, I have an iceberg to sell you in Qatar.

Froch weights only a few pounds over 168 walking around. He's a small super middleweight.

Overhand right might well do it if Golovkin is the puncher we believe.

Froch can take a shot, but if Golovkin's power carries up he'll find it tough to take flush Golovkin punches.

golovkin doesn't have a 75" inch reach. froch has long ass arms.

                golovkin will still outjab him.

Any man can get KO'd, it's not like he wasn't dropped and badly hurt by Groves in the first fight.

I'm not so sure about that I'd love to see Carl fight GGG and prove the one side wrong it might just not be a possible fight to make...

I don't see GGG doing the same mistakes that Groves did with getting himself close up against the ropes and that ring was just a joke it was far too small!!
Ill give you this if its a toe to toe slug out and GGG suddenly forgets his technique then Carl might just win but I see enough defensive ability in Gennady to not take silly shots Froch has a good jab but he doesn't fight well when pushed on the backfoot.

Really? That's bigger than he used to be.
